Who are we?
Lithos Energy was founded with the goal of enabling a new generation of electric vehicles to take shape. To that end, we are designing a new lithium ion battery pack from the ground up for use in high-performance automotive and aerospace applications. We build the things we design ourselves and manufacture in-house, in California. We are a growing team of experienced engineers.

As a Manager of supply chain and operations, you will be responsible for managing the Lithos factory and achieving the required production targets. This will include managing a global supply chain of vendors to ensure timely arrival of parts, tracking production output and scrap levels, managing engineering change control and production resource planning.

Basic Qualifications
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Ensure the continuous operation of Lithos production lines through production planning and vendor management.
- Manage RFQ process, order placement and vendor relationships.
- Drive pricing negotiation to achieve best in class cost.
- Track the performance of the production line and monitor output and scrap levels.
- Continuously improve production, quality management and business processes.
- Anything else needed to get the job done.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
- Detailed oriented with ability to manage large volumes of data.
- Comfortable being in constant communication with a large number of counterparts.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- MBA with specialization in Operations
- Experience in procurement and pricing negotiations.
- Experience in production planning.
- Excellent communication skills with domestic and overseas suppliers.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations.
- Familiar with MES and production tracking.
- Experience leading a team.
- Familiarity with production line design, manufacturing environment, 5S, quality control.
